Walt has been active in the BCA Instructors Program since 2000. In addition to teaching at the academy he has taught a pocket billiards course at the University of Connecticut, organized several tournaments and delivered workshops to groups in the New England area. Walt has been recognized as an effective teacher at the college and university levels.
As an outgrowth of his teaching, Walt advises on equipment selection and billiard room design. A member of the International Cue Makers Association, he is sought out by many for quality custom cues.
Walt is active in the Billiard Congress of America at the national level serving on the Instructors Program Committee and as a certified referee.
Roy has been an active league player for many years. Since 2002, he has operated an APA sanctioned youth league in Ayer, MA. Roy enjoys working with young players, and some of his students have competed successfully on the national level. For the last six years Roy has organized one of the few BCA junior qualifying tournaments in the northeast, attracting some of the best young players in the United States.
Although having taught informally for some time, Roy first attended the Billiard Academy of New England in 2005 and became a advanced instructor in 2009. He is now a principal of the AABCS. Roy has designed and taught several very popular courses catering to all skill levels.
Roy currently servs on the membership committee of the Billiard Congress of
America and remains an active student and instructor of the art and science of
billiards.
